Writing for gay

We find ourselves feeling the alienation that James Baldwin describes in Autobiographical Notes , when he goes to the great achievements of Western Art and Culture, and sees nothing of his history, of his accomplishment. The only reason I would make the choice to write from that perspective is if a story came to me that I could not imagine any other way.
